How do you lecture over the internet?

The lectures are done live with video of me, live chat, and a Powerpoint presentation, and are recorded, so if you can’t make the live session, you can stream it from the internet afterward (indefinitely; it’s never taken away as long as the website is running, and if you have Windows, you can download the classes and keep them forever.)

What time will the classes be held?

Discovery is held on Sundays from 3-4 pm; Revision is held on Sundays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. All times EST.

What if I can’t make the live lecture?

Is my computer/internet connection fast enough?

The website I use is called WizIQ; it’s best to go there and make sure your computer and internet connection meet recommended system requirements before signing up for class. I don’t process refunds once the class begins.

You will be required to sign up at WizIQ; it’s free for students, I pay all fees for the class. You will also be signed up at the Storywonk Forums, a private forum just for my students. This doesn’t require anything complicated for your computer or your internet; if you can handle WizIQ, the forums will not throw you.

Unfortunately, since WizIQ doesn’t offer forums there, I have to have two separate places for you to log in. I will strive to make this more convenient as soon as I find a way to get the best of both worlds at one location.

What if I can’t attend the live class? Can I still get my questions answered?

Yes! I will be on the forums during the entire six weeks, and can answer any questions you have there. I visit multiple times a day, usually responding to every query within a few hours.
