Because truly back to school is Christmas for parents. It’s “The most wonderful time of the year!”

Lucky you! Today was my kindergartener’s trial bus ride. Still a full 9 days until I see the backs of my kids!
You are sooo lucky… I have six, count ‘em, SIX days left (bangs head on coffee table) of Fall Out Boy played in the bathroom at level #11. Six days of “We never have anything to eat” after spending $100 at the grocery store. Six days of my liver getting a nightly wine bath…

Mine isn’t off till next Tuesday, but I have managed to ship him off overnight with a friend. He thinks it was his idea.

Sending back-to-school vibes to all of you. I’ve never lived in a place where the kids went back to school this early, so it’s a new and wonderful experience. Of course, they’ll get out earlier than your kids, too. But for right now, I’m focusing on the beauty that is school.
